RR crossing of the fake interim Anacostia Trail. Later there'll be a bridge here.

'a frightening sign by the railroad tracks. Below the stop sign is a skull and crossbones, with the crossbones actually the railroad crossing symbol. It says "Don't make crossings deadly!" and "Look, listen & live!"'

Is this near Barney Circle? I tried to find a place to cross the tracks there and realized some sort of bridge is needed. I did notice crews working on the trail along Water Street.

No, this is the other side. A bridge is planned for Barney Circle too. DDOT wanted an at-grade crossing there, which CSX originally agreed to, but later they said no.
