Green DC

Green DC is the city's environment section of their website. One of it's "hot topics" is transportation which links to the bike map, WABA's website and the pedestrian master plan (why not the bike master plan?). It's not much more useful than that I'm afraid.

It would be better if it

1. Explained the environmental impact of different transportation choices
2. Encouraged residents to take the 2 mile challenge
3. Explained about free bus rides on code red days
4. Linked to a more direct bicycle transportation resource as well as a list of local bike shops, laws, etc...

This site, instead, looks a little slapped together.
