Better Bikes
I hadn't heard of Better Bikes until it was mentioned in Washingtonians Ecofriendly Guide to D.C., but it appears to have been a bicycle rental and delivery company in DC since 1986.
Committed to offering special services to visitors from across the country, around the world, Better Bikes, Inc. also provides confidential services to those in high-visibility professions. Concierge suggest Better Bikes for their guests needing confidentiality as well as those who need services such as bicycle shipping and set-up -- to bicycle rentals for exposition's.
I didn't realize renting bikes required so much discretion. It sounds like hiring a prostitute (my wife calls my bike the other woman, so it may not be that far off).
I clicked through on the Better Bikes link only to find the site has been suspended. Hmmm - maybe their delivery services DID include something special ;)
