Dec 9th Flooding

I rode south from Cathedral around 7:15 AM.  Usual puddles in the usual places until you reach the flat section just above the footbridge before P Street.  The creek is already coming over the bank in places, and there are 2 large sections of deep standing water.  I'd guess by later this  morning or afternoon the whole section will be flooded all the way to the Parkway itself.

On the bright side, not that cold and not raining that hard.

I'm riding home tonight so I'll post an update tonight.

The standard huge standing puddle just before the first footbridge heading north toward Tilden. But no flooding near the P St. footbridge.

5pm on Dec 11--just got back from a run. The puddles and icy in places that don't face the sun, so watch out if commuting home tonight.
