The trail is mainly clear, from Calvert Street to the Lincoln Memorial. Two downed trees are straddling the trail across from the Kennedy Center, but you can thread your way through the branches. And there's an impassable section along the entrance ramp from Calvert Street, so you have to get off the sidewalk for about 30 feet. Aside from sandy patches and places where fallen branches haven't been entirely cleared and where there's room for only one bike, it's in commute-able shape. Just would not want to do it after dark.
