I went there with my two boys last Saturday
and I had to explain to my kids that I did not want to stand on the fresh plants
the sign was the only place to lock the bikes

they need to get a clue

I went to a community meeting about this development a year or so ago

they had totally left THE BICYCLE out of the equation

which is unacceptable in urban planning

Last week, I posted in the comments link about the dearth of bike racks at that location in BeyondDC's post about the development (http://beyonddc.com/log/?p=174). I'm glad that enough other people have complained about it that it's getting the attention it needs and that bike racks are being installed, though I'm sad for planning in the city that they weren't installed as soon as the concrete dried on those sidewalks.
